Mary, The Mother Of Jesus

    Mary is the Mother of Jesus, the Son of God.

    Once, angel Gabriel came to
    Mary of Nazareth

    The angel said to Mary:

    Hail Mary, full of grace! the Lord is with you.
    You will concieve and give birth to a son.
    You must name Him Jesus.

    Mary said to the angel:

    Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
    Be it done unto me according to
    your word.

     

     

    Let us pray

    Hail Mary, full of grace!

    The Lord is with you. Blessed are
    you among women and blessed is the
    fruit of your womb, Jesus.
    Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us
    sinners, now and at the hour of
    our death, Amen.

    Let us sing

    Hail Mary, full of grace,

    The Lord is with you.
    Blessed are you among women,
    And blessed the fruit of your womb,Jesus.
    Holy Mary, Mother of God,
    Pray for us sinners now,
    And at the hour of our death, Amen.
     
     
     

     

     
    The mother of Jesus is
    our mother too.
    In Malayalam we call Jesus' mother
    'Mathavu'or 'Amma'.

    Colour the following

    Colour these flowers and give them
    to Mother Mary as a gift.
     
    I like my mother. My mother sees to my needs.
    Holy Mary is my heavenly mother. She loves me as she loved Jesus.
    In my needs she comes to my help.
     

    Let us pray

    Holy Mother, please help me in my needs
     
    Give your favourite colour to this rosary and make it
    beautiful. As you give colour to each bead, don't forget to
    say the prayer 'O my Mother, I trust in thee'.
     

    Let us memorise

    “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word”
